Electrician Supervisor, Electrical Maintenance

Veterans Health Administration is hiring an Electrician Supervisor in Lexington, KY.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and schedule a team of electricians and electronic mechanics, assigning repair and installation work and checking that jobs are finished safely and to standard.
• Start and track work orders, review contractor test records, and keep the team current on electrical safety rules and new trade practices.
• Coach team members, review their performance, support hiring and training, and approve leave while keeping coverage in place for the facility.

What you need:

• Strong journeyman-level electrical experience, including installation, repair, and maintenance work, with skill in planning work and reading job instructions.
• Supervisory ability, clear spoken and written communication, and a careful, safety-first approach to electrical work in a busy medical center.

Pay and schedule: $40.06 – $46.74 per hour, full-time and permanent, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with travel of 25 percent or less.
