Human Resources Specialist, State Human Resources Office

Air National Guard Units is hiring a Human Resources Specialist in Phoenix, AZ.

What you’ll do:

• Help Guard members with personnel actions, including assignments, promotions, and changes to service records, while keeping files accurate and up to date.
• Guide members and supervisors through pay, benefits, and leave questions, and explain the forms and steps needed to complete each request correctly.
• Prepare personnel reports, review documents for errors, and work with the state headquarters team to resolve routine human resources issues.

What you need:

• Experience in human resources, administration, or personnel support, with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information carefully.
• Arizona Air National Guard membership in an eligible grade, plus eligibility for a Secret security clearance and readiness for occasional travel.

Pay and schedule: $52,783 – $83,938 per year, full-time and permanent, with occasional travel.
